Designed and painted in collaboration with students from Samuel Robertson Technical Secondary School. Students went on walks around their neighbourhood and submitted photos of landscapes and native species. Their images were collaged together to form the final composition. The project encouraged participants to explore their backyards, and record things they might normally overlook. We considered novel ways of presenting familiar forms, and representing lesser known species.
